PAC Appearance
It usually includes liquid and powdered poly aluminium chloride products. liquid PAC has 10.0-10.6% as Al2O3. The Al2O3 content of powdered PAC is a minimum of 28%, 29%, and 30%. the colors are white, milk yellow and light yellow.
Polymeric Aluminium Chloride
The polyaluminum chloride with the content of alumina trioxide between 28% and 31% within the national standard is mostly earthy yellow, to yellow, light yellow solid powder.The colors are generally white, yellow, and brown. Polyaluminum chloride of different colors is also quite different in application and production technology. It is a new type of high-efficiency inorganic polymer coagulant. It adopts advanced manufacturing technology and high-quality raw materials. It has the characteristics of less impurities, large molecular weight and good coagulation effect. Compared with other coagulants, polyaluminum chloride has the following advantages: wide application range and wide adaptability to water. It is easy to quickly form large alum flowers and has good precipitation performance. The suitable PH value range is wide (between 5-9), and the PH value and alkalinity of the water after treatment will decrease slightly. When the water temperature is low, the stable precipitation effect can still be maintained. The degree of alkalinity is higher than other aluminum salts and iron salts, and has less corrosive effect on equipment.
PAC Applications 1. It is used as a coagulant in the treatment usage of drinking water purification and sanitary sewage. 2. It is used as a flocculant in the treatment usage of Industrial water, industrial wastewater, mine and water for oilfield injection, chemical wastewater in the industry of paper-making, metallurgy, washed coal, sludge water treatment,effluent treatment from civil engineering works,and leather. 3. It is used to make waste water recyclable in industries. such as paper-making glue, printing and dying, concrete hardener, precision casting hardener, glycerine refinement, crease-resistant for fabric, medicine, cosmetics and etc. 4. It has good effects on oil-water separation in the oil refining industry. 5. It can also be used as a phosphorus remover. When polyaluminum chloride is added to the sewage, the phosphate ions in the water are formed into insoluble salts, and the flocs are formed and separated from the water, thereby removing the phosphorus contained in the water.
